Endangered Banggai Cardinalfish

Although they’re easy to breed in captivity, they’re still subject to over collection, and now listed as endangered in the wild.

Where to Find Them in Indonesia

Restricted to the Benggai Islands in Indonesia, a small population also exists in Luwuk harbour (Central Sulawesi) and Lembeh Straits (North Sulawesi)

Where to Find Them in Bali

In May 2014, these beautiful fish were also seen in Secret Bay, Bali.

You’ll enjoy scuba diving in Secret Bay because this dive area is an incredible muck-diving location and often yields a high number of new discoveries and amazing underwater pictures.
