PADI Nitrox (Enriched Air)

Scuba diving with Enriched Air (or Nitrox as it is also known) gives you more no decompression dive time, meaning more time underwater, especially on repetitive dives.

With Nitrox you can typically stay down longer and get back in the water sooner than when diving with composed air, so the PADI Enriched Air Diver course will teach you techniques for getting more dive time. The course also covers Enriched Air diving equipment considerations, as well as general considerations such as managing oxygen exposure, analysing the oxygen content of your Enriched Air tank, and how to set your dive computer.

The great thing about this course is that it no longer requires Open Water dives for certification so with a day of theory and some practical simulation exercises you can go straight to fun diving and extending your bottom time by diving with Nitrox.

The theory for your Nitrox certification can also be done via e-Learning. After a theory review with your AquaMarine PADI Instructor, and completion of the practical simulation exercise which includes analysing an Enriched Air scuba tank, you can gain your certification in just a few hours.
