Manta Point Day Trip

One of AMD-B’s most popular Day Trips Manta rays are seen year-round. One dive will be at Manta Point; the other will be at another Nusa Penida dive site – for example Toyapakeh, known for its wonderful coral formations. The order of dives is decided based on tides and conditions.

Nusa Penida (Mola-Mola in season) or Nusa Lembongan Day Trip

This Day Trip usually includes diving at two Nusa Penida sites. The sites are chosen for their conditions on the day, both in terms of safety and with the highest likelihood of providing you a glimpse of these massive but elusive fish.

Sometimes, particularly at the end of the season, AMD-B may choose to take guests to Mimpang or Tepekong outside Padangbai.

The Dive Sites

All dive sites in this area experience varying conditions at different times of the year. When selecting sites for our Nusa Penida Dive Trips we rely on the combined experience of our boat crews and our PADI-certified dive guides.

This means that your Day Trip to Nusa Penida and/or Nusa Lembongan may include drift dives, reef dives, and wall dives.

You may also go in search of Mola-Mola during the July-mid November season, and for Manta rays at Manta Point (although the Mantas are there year-round, Manta Point Trips must be pre-booked).

AquaMarine’s daily planning aims to be the most time effective for you whilst keeping in mind the conditions of the various sites.

Therefore divers are often able to pre-book 3rd Day Dives on their Nusa Penida Day Trips.

We particularly recommend this for Mola-Mola and Manta Point Day Trips, both in order to maximise your chance of seeing Mola-Mola or Manta rays, and so you simply have more opportunity to enjoy the sites Nusa Penida has to offer.

Schedule Change for Mola-Mola Season

During Mola-Mola Season (July to mid-November), AquaMarine adjusts pick-up times for Nusa Penida Dive Trips; this means we will pick you up one hour earlier than usual.

By getting you to the sites before other dive companies, AquaMarine increases your chances of seeing these amazing pelagics.
